This is a great all-round line which is very tough but is cheap enough that you can change it regularly if you need to. It offers brilliant value for money, and is very abrasion resistant, so is the perfect choice when fishing in weedy or snaggy situations, but despite being very tough it also casts very well and gives a high knot strength. Carp Line is a subtle green colour, which blends in well with any lake bed, and it has low stretch, which helps when feeling your lead down. It is available in 12lb, 15lb (0.40mm) or 20lb (0.43mm)– and is supplied on 1,000m spools.
